In fact it is disrupting me from mugging for my midterm korean test 2 days later. Erm not that i really care much about it. Ha.
I am so happieee!!
Fine, i shall have to curb all temptations to let my mind wander and focus.

I have to say that my class is rather enthusiastic about class gatherings.. Lol. Anyway we met up for dinner and noraebang (karaoke) yesterday night at sinchon area and the most amusing thing was that only half of the class turned up this morning in the end. Heard that the peeps who stayed behind after the noraebang session followed it up with a drinking session that apparently ended at 12+ am. Oh well.
Anyway we had a cheesy version of 닭갈비 (some chicken thingy which is pretty hard to describe lol) and it was really good! Ha i loved the burnt cheese which was excluded the first time i tried this dish. As usual, we had to don aprons which was met with reluctance from the guys especially since they were red with white polka dots. I thought it was quite cute. HA.
After dinner, we headed to this really posh noraebang which actually angel n me had previously spotted in hongik area. The setting is beyond description. Ermm, the price too. Lol. But the name of the noraebang has a 秀 in it with some cheesy english words.. 'providing high luxury entertainment blah blah' and it kinda reminded me of Lee soo man. But SM Everysing is different right? Hmm cant really recall..Anyway, its like we had to take off our shoes and then walk along the corridor to the rooms and the floor along the corridor is all made of glass with stuffed toys, flowers etc in it. The rooms were spacious and equipped with tambourines, macarenas, bears, spotlights.. To top it off, there were certain rooms facing the street and they have like double decks and in a bedroom kinda setting. My friend even mentioned that they provide you with costumes too! Haa. OOhh and they gave free unlimited icecream too~~ ^^
I think almost everybody had at least one chance to sing but the one that met with the most enthusiatic applause had to be the rap-song by a guy in my class called Michael. He did this eninem number and everyone was super impressed. Lol. Well, what do you expect from an ABK (american-born korean).. Ha. Well, he's pretty goodlooking too and should i say, the most popular guy in our class? A gal in my class even professed her feelings for him in front of the whole class.. That was super duper hilarious and i think she kinda scared him away though he din admit it.
Shirley, me and Liang liang. This guy is a source of entertainment in our class. Lol. AND!! My red Banc hoodie!! I din have a chance to take a proper picture of it but its my most precious hoodie. Heez.Oh I forgot to mention that Michael is a 1986 baby too. And he actually called me 누나 once. =p
(But i so wanna hear it again from the se7en lookalike!!)
Ok, this has absolutely nothing to do with my class but Su finally left a note on iple and a picture of him with his best friend..

Heh i finally got my korean handphone after countless (fruitless) visits to god-knows how many phone shops in seoul. And can i add that the guy who served us looks really cute? LOL.
He looks like this!
Trust me im not kidding. He really bears an uncanny resemblance to se7en.. and he was born on 23 december 1986 though his ID card shows 23 January 1987. Heh the reason for knowing this was cos we were too bored waiting for my hp to come (from somewhere) and also cos he took my alien registration card to apply for my phone line and he came to ask us about our age. -___-
Ha i already had a premonition that he would be younger than us and i was not proven wrong. Lol. And his colleague kept coming over to tease him about making friends with us, how shuai he is etc.. and his face actually kinda turned red! Ok that is unbelieveably cute.. Haha. He was also amused that we din believe he was telling the truth about his age. Or rather, maybe he was amused by how everyone's age turned out cos in the end he made us guess the age of everyone working there.. =p
1986.. my favourite year.
Anyway i love my phone..! (including the fact that he brought it in specially for us..ha)I had to get a T-slide phone and my wish is fulfilled~ Yeahh. And it was like i had already almost given up trying to get one cos of all these moron restrictions for foreigners staying less than a year in korea and he really brought one.. Heaven-sent! Rofl. ^^
The only catch is that its black.. but oh well beggars cant be choosers. I did spot a really nice red T-slide phone but i think its pricey..

Listening to: (what else but) 동방신기 [주문]
This is gonna be a super duper long entry, as promised. Lol. But its gonna be packed with pics instead and erm a few lines here and there..
Anyway, in short its just gonna be about DBSK. Ha the main priority on my list right now. Oh well. I am still studying my korean, albeit not in the most hardworking manner.. =p
First up, the Asia Song Festival 2008 on 4th october at the World Cup stadium, which was surprisingly pretty near to our house. The 3 of us! (taken by some angmo passerby)
The various vendors outside the stadium selling everything under the sun that would burn a big hole in a fanger's pocket, me included. Lol. Well, just a dozen or so name tags, light stick, keychain, jae's stickers, binoculars n balloons.. ha.
All the singers who were attending the festival had their own board.. angel took pics of almost all of them but i shall just put up my 2 favorites. Heh. Note where my hand is on the board.

After we went into the stadium. Huge banners that greeted us and my favourite of cos will be this..^^
The Red Ocean.. Ah. I must say something about them. It was like 1-2 hours before the concert was scheduled to start and the Cassies were there, singing Mirotic together.. In a really loud voice and i dunno why i was really touched.. As in it was like i could feel the love and unity and it kinda made me think i can finally understand how fans can be a pillar of strength and adrenaline boost for singers.
The Triple S.. They did sing too but it wasnt really as clear as the Cassies' version..

Of cos, the main highlight of the festival. The Cassies were really quiet throughout other performances (can i say especially during SN**) and i was waiting for them to coordinate this. And it finally came out during Mirotic. COOL! In case its not very clear in the pic, the sea of green lightsticks show 'TVXQ No.1' highlighted against a background formed by red lightsticks.
There are other pics of them dancing on stage but i just picked the best one. Hee. And of cos jae wasnt that near to me. I would faint if he was. Lol. This was taken off the big screen.
The reason i put up this was cos Andre Kim (the white alien-ish person) was with the bois. Lol. I wanted to see him upclose!
Okie. Besides DBSK, i also caught Fahrenheit, W-inds, SS501, UKiss, 2AM, shin seung hun, karen mok, SNSD (i was hardly enthusiatic about it), Yoga Lin and a whole bunch of other pple i dunno who.. ss501 looks good too..
I cant believe i really did this but yeah me and rachel woke up at 630AM on 11th october just to go all the way to Ilsan MBC Dream center to catch Music Core. I am amazed too. Lol. Anyway its really a long story. In short, we were supposed to catch Rain first at 10am and then DBSK at 320pm but Rain started 2 hours late in the end and i had to skip his performance to queue up for DBSK. Its not really that surprising but fans were already forming queues at like 9 plus? So i had no choice. Wasted!! But DBSK was worth the long wait, rebuffs by the SM staff, freezing weather in the morning til glaring sun in the afternoon. THEY ARE THE BEST. Lol.
Too bad MBC music core was rather strict so no cameras were permitted at all. But i was happy enough taking in all the sights..of cos of the bois. They were so duper cute! Especially when they were making mistakes.. Lol. There was this part the 5 of them supposed to come out from the bottom of the stage and there was something wrong with it so only their heads popped out. Jae was so freaking adorable~ n the Cassies started chanting each member's name and Ho just repeated the name with them.
Ahh and i must comment about the silent cheering thingy. Im totally impressed (yet again) with the Cassies~ They really kept to their word and only did the routine cheer as in like repeating the last 2 words after the chorus of 주문 while staying quiet during the rest of the song. More interestingly, while waiting, they sang in unison again to the performance the bois had recorded earlier. Kinda like lip syncing to the bois' version. I find it pretty cute. Lol. Cos some parts they went out of sync with the bois so they kept trying to fit back into the tempo.
What other funny snippets.. Ah. The jets of smoke thingy that singers always have during performances. I think it was Chun. Too much smoke came out and it was so funny to see him smothered in smoke. Lol.
And the live performance of 주문 is waaay amazing. One word to describe them: 'TEMPTING'. Lol. But i so wanna hear 'Love in the ice' live too!
Anyway the numbers they wrote on the fans' hands to show queue number. 529 was for Rain while 4-1 was for DBSK. Ohya, i forgot to say i saw Son ho young too. Before the staff chased us out of the recording studio.
After that, of cos i had to drop by junsu's dad's pizzeria since i was already in Ilsan. I din do this when i came last year so this year i finally asked for a pic with his 아빠! Hee if Junsu's cardboard figure din look that fake, it might have passed off as the real junsu himself. And his cute dad kept asking me n rachel to study hard when we left.. ^^
The countless number of junsu pics on the board.. I would be proud too if i had such a fine son..
Ok i dun really like this pic cos i look horrible in it but i like where my hand is. ROFL. So just kindly ignore my face. 
Tada! This is better.. Lol. Though i have no idea what i was doing. 
Lastly, all the vandalisms on the walls down the stairs from the shop. I might consider leaving my initials there next time too.. HA.
Yeah~ i finally finished everything. Tiring! Lol. Ok gotta sleep soon though tomorrow i will be learning samulnori (korean drums) as part of some culture program.
To end it off, a pic of my erm part of the room. I cant help decorating in this manner cos im pretty used to a wall full of stuff at home.. Do you spot the ultra cute clock that i fell in love with at first sight? ^^

Din feel like blogging all this while cos had been tapping on some poor guy's internet connection which unfortunately was pretty CMI. Lol. Yeah finally had the internet set up yesterday in our apartment~
Hmm i should have alot to blog about considering the long absence but i erm wanna procrastinate. I am L-A-Z-Y! =p
I swear that the next entry will be much more lengthy than this.. (hopefully)
